Installed. No issues.
I have most of the macintosh versions and many for Windows. Just let me know what you'd like to try.
Thanks Allory it worked. It wasn't as shiny and bright as you could hope, but it did the trick.
Below I will tell what happened, just as a reference to someone with a similar problem wanting to try…
Same. 4 Garmin devices before the update and all connecting and communicating after the update.
Really great Garmin - now we can install the map for the Zumo XT on the computer!
BUT!!! The unlock file isn't copied to the computer and so the map is locked and can't be used in BaseCamp! This bug is verified with many users already!
Really great job - NOT!!
See this posted elsewhere
Temporary solution for this - from the folder .System/Maps on the Zumo XT copy the file 'D6210130A.gma' to 'c:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Maps\' kopieren(!!), this should unlock the map in BaseCamp...
Alternatively you could copy .gma-Datei to 'c:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\', this also should work....
Since I have installed this version, it works with Garmin smartwatch (Fenix, instinct, ...) but not at all with automotive gps on Windows 10.
Windows recognize the gps and I can see it in "devices" and the drive (to the device) but Garmin express does not see it at all. And I have the same problem with all my automotive gps (Drivesmart 51, Drivesmart 55, ...). I did install Garmin on another Windows 10 pc and I have the same problem ... that problem never happened with the previous version.
any suggestion? is there something I can try or I'll have to wait to the next version?
thanks for your help
Sylvain
I am having the same problem with my drive 50.
Tried an update yesterday, was asked to do an update of Express and discoverd he no longer recognised my navigator.
I phoned the helpdesk and the person there told me it was a known bug of the 7.6.0.0 version running on windows 10.
He also told me that the guys from "software" had decided to remove all older versions,
so there is no way back. We have to wait for an update to Express. (estimated within 14 days)
My question to anyone reading this: Can anyone help me with the install of a version a little older than 7.6.0.0 (maybe 7.5.x.x)?
It may have some known bugs but al least I can do a map-update.
Thanks in advance for any help.
