Garmin 310xt last activity will not upload

Hi, my watch connects to the pc and the message that the activity has synced but when i look in the activities it does not appear.

I have tried rebooting the watch and the connect software but it keeps saying it has synced but no activity, all previous activities have uploaded successfully.

Could be a corrupt activity (fit file) on the device. Try a short test new activity to see if it goes.

Otherwise, if it appears to be syncing and you don't see any error messages, could be you've logged in with a different Garmin account

Thanks, I did that and the test activity uploaded.

I have entered all the summary data as a manually but don't have all the data like maps and laps, very frustrating.

I wonder if there is some way of uncorrupting the file...

Hi, I just went for another 1 hour ride today and its doing the same thing.

When the app says its syncing the bar runs fast then it says complete and the watch starts displaying the syncing process screen for a very short time.

They look out of sync as before the syncing car would scroll and then when the activity is uploading it would get a progression bar, and then complete.

Suggest resetting the device to factory defaults (hard reset). I also have 310XT, though not my primary device. Occasionally this has been needed over the years. This will delete all user data and personal settings and place it into "out of the box" condition.

Power off the unit
Simultaneously hold down the mode and power buttons
Keep holding down mode and power until you see the prompt "Delete all user data?"
Arrow down to select "YES"
Press the enter button. The unit will restart.
Follow the prompts to setup the unit for first time use
Place unit outside with a clear view of the sky for 20 minutes
Sync with Garmin Express
Go for a test activity
