How can I check which version of software I have for Garmin Express, and on my Forerunner 735XT?

When I open Garmin Express then click on the Forerunner 735XT icon, the next view states that I have software version 9.80. I'm sure I have had two updates since then, but now dont know if they were for the watch or the pc. Therefore, I would like to check both watch and pc for accurate indications of the software versions. Any suggestions how I can do that please?

    9.80 is the most recent version of the FR735XT firmware. Other updates that you might have received are for example time zone maps.

    My thanks also to seilogramp (who according to my emails) replied about the version of Garmin Express, but his/her reply isn't shown here for some reason. I now know I have both latest versions (watch and GE).

    I notice I'm not the only person to have the shutdown problem with this version of GE - if I shutdown GE, then reasonably quickly after (less than 35 seconds) try to shutdown my pc, express.exe (a Garmin file) gets in the way. If I do not have the default setup of having Garmin Express running in the background even if I am not using GE, avoids that problem. Trouble is, a software update puts me back into the default mode so this problem restarts
