Installing software updates

is there any way to update software for my 920xt by bluetooth as my physical connection from laptop is not recognising the 920xt. It does, however, charge my 920xt.

Are you using the original cable? You'd get those symptoms if you're using a charging rather than data cable.

It was the original charging and data cable that came with it. One of the connections dropped off and I soldered on a connection. Since, it charges only.

Ordered one but been on the way for more than 4months! Ordered another.
