Sync issues when deleted TempFIT folder on Forerunner 245

So...Following the Garmin advice...my Forerunner 245 was full so they suggested to delete the TempFIT folder then disconnect and update on Garmin Express. I carried out these instructions only to find that I can no longer sync my watch! Please help!
