Express Version 7.3.1.0

I've updated to Version 7.3.1.0, just get the Garmin express banner but won't start. Win 10 running latest version. I have deleted Garmin data files,  uninstalled Garmin express restarted computer and reinstalled version 7.3.1.0 and run as administrator still only get the Garmin express banner. I've done this 3 times.

Any suggestions?

    Did you uninstall first, then delete the 2 related Garmin Folders in %localappdata%?

    No i didn't look for anything in %localappdata.%.

    I ran regedit, 

    Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER to show folders

    Expand Software

    Expand the Garmin folder

    Right-click the folder for the application being uninstalled

    Click Delete

    Click Yes to confirm

    Click the arrow next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER to collapse folders

    Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

    Expand Software

    Expand Wow6432Node (This step only applies to 64-bit operating systems)

    Expand the Garmin folder

    Right-click the folder for the application being uninstalled

    Click Delete

    Click Yes to confirm

    Close the Registry Editor

    Restart the computer.

    I reinstalled 7.3.1.0 outcome was exactly the same.

    I went through the above steps again this time deleting all reference to Garmin, restarted the computer. I again reinstalled 7.3.1.0 still did not run. Went through all steps again, i then installed version 7.0.2.0 i had downloaded in August 2020, this worked and offered an upgrade to 7.3.1.0, i upgraded, you guessed it, it didn't work.

    Over to Garmin or Microsoft?

    Search for %localappdata%

    Open Folder

    Deleted both Garmin related folders

    Rebooted

    Reinstalled Garmin Express

    Garmin Express now opens correctly

    Apparently Garmin Express has a glitch in their uninstall process...

    Found your post thanks. The only folder in %localappdata% is crashdumps.

    Near the start button should be an magnifying glass. Click it.

    Type in: %LocalAppData%

    Make sure the "All" tab is pressed

    Should be a "Best Match" File Folder, double click it.

    Delete the 2 Garmin related folders after uninstall

    Many thanks for your help, found 3 Garmin folders with sub folders searching by your method, deleted all, reinstalled 7.3.1.0 now works, Thanks again.
