I'm trying to run Garmin Express on my Windows 10 laptop but can't get it to open. I had an earlier version of Garmin Express (can't remember which one) which also wouldn't load so I deleted that using Windows uninstall, rebooted my laptop, downloaded the latest version (v7.3.1.0) and installed that. The installation appeared to work as I had a GE icon showing on my desktop but when I click on that and run it as administrator (or run it from the Windows/Program Files(x86 directory) it displays the opening splash window and the circling loading icon but never gets beyond that stage. I suspect that the problem originates from the uninstall of the previous version and so have tried uninstalling the latest version using MS install/uninstall troubleshooter but that has made no difference. I have McAfee anti-virus installed.
How do I get Garmin Express to run on my Windows 10 laptop?
