Version 7.3.1.0 - still sometimes get Express error on shutdown

I've updated Express 7.3.0.0 to Express 7.3.1.0.. Rebooted my computer a few times to test . Sill sometimes get the error reported below in "I keep getting Express.exe error when I shutdown PC" (thread now locked).

Garmin are investigating the issue. I will report back on progress.

I have a brand new certified Windows 10 2020H2 installation purchased from Microsoft with all updates which I installed Garmin Express 7.3.1.0. I am experiencing the same exception error when I shutdown my PC and Garmin Express is running. I do not receive the error if I disable Garmin Express prior to the shutdown/reboot.

I am sure someone will say to re-install Garmin Express. I have re-installed this software and I get the same results. Diskchk and SFC have been run.

No joy, and very concerning.

Still every shutdown an error about Express.

Hi, i installed Garmin Express on my pc, anytime i restart/shutdown the PC. There popup a alert window.

Express.exe Fehler in Anwendung

Die Anweisung in =0x0000000060B0B522 verwies auf Arbeitspeicher bei 0x0000000000000058. Der Vorgang read konnte im Arbeitsspeicher nicht durchgeführt werden.

Klicken Sie auf OK um das Programm zu beenden.

Known issue. I've merged these threads. Suggest that anyone with this issue also report this by opening a case with Garmin Support

The problem start to appear for me on garmin express 7.3.1.0.

You don't indicate what the other thread is. Before I posted on this one, I searched and the only other thread I found was closed?

Express is running in the background. You can turn this off in settings. The error stop from occuring. You have to open express manual only for synchronising, Express running in the background is i.m.o useless.

I have had the error for 2 months and reported it to Garmin over many emails. They have no intention of seriously addressing this problem.

Have sent then phots of the memory error message 3 times and explained about not running it in the background stops the error.

Just had an update to Garmin Express tonight 24/3/2021 but still the same error.

I think Covid has got to thier systems.
