Forerunner 305

I don't see a place specifically for this device, here seems pretty close though.

I have a FR 305 and a Dell Windows 10 Home laptop. I have the latest Garmin Express software (7.3.0.0). For some reason Garmin did not install the USB drivers. I manually installed 2.3.1.0 (right/wrong?).

I can get Express to recognize the 305 once. If I remove the 305 from the cradle then put it back on, express won't recognize it anymore unless I reboot the computer. Now it recognizes the 305 again until I remove it then same story, it won't recognize it again until I reboot.

Anyone have any experience with this happening to them?

My issue was that Express would not connect to the 305 if Chrome was open, I don't know why, but 20 consecutive connect/disconnect/connects with chrome closed then no connect with chrome open proves it for me. YMMV
