Don't bother with Garmin Express 7.2.20

Got a new Garmin for Christmas (to replace the one that was stolen from me on Dec.30th... long story) and, of course, downloaded the latest Garmin Express software, in this case being 7.2.20.

The installation went fine... but you cannot launch the app afterward, even in Administrator mode. Not on Windows 10, at any rate.

I read online that many have had similar issues so I went to the Garmin Express page and downloaded the 7.1.30 version  which, when installed, run s just fine.

So, I thought that others could benefit from this as well.  Good luck!

    Mine launches on Win10 so must be a conflict somewhere in your system. Call Product Support to let them know and for detailed help.

    7.2.20 issues here too.  It seems to work ok my W10 laptop, but it doesnt work on the W10 PC, doesnt sync or connect.

    Going to try that.   I have a new lap top with windows 10 and garmin express 7.2.2.0 installs and recognizes my vivo active 4 but won't let me sign in.   The same watch connects to 7.2.2.0 on windows 7, my old lap top so not really sure what the problem is.   Will try this 7.1.30 version and see if that fixes it.
