iTunes not recognized

I am unable to get Garmin express to show any music ( Audiobooks ) in iTunes

I searched this forum and saw that many had same issue well over a year ago and at that time the "fix" was to copy and rename some files which I dont know where they are or how to do that.

since it appears Garmin has not addressed this issue, is there any other fix?

My music and audiobooks are on dive X: , a network drive

  • To the best of my knowledge, Garmin Express still doesn't allow users to browse their computers to locate iTunes installations on drives other than C:. I have iTunes installed on D:, so I feel your pain.

    Over two years ago I posted a set of copy/rename steps as a workaround, and I'm still using those steps every time I want to add music or podcasts to my Garmin device.Good luck with it if you decide to try it. It isn't difficult - just clunky. I wish we had a solution rather than a workaround, but at least this process still works.
