Garmin Express has stopped recognising my ANT Stick on windows 10 PC

Garmin Express has stopped recognising my ANT stick on my PC windows 10. I have reinstalled, rebooted and tried different USB ports but it simply doesn't recognise it as a device. My PC recognises the ANT stick, but I can no longer link it to Garmin Express. It has worked for the past year, but has now stopped.

  • Which Garmin device do you have? To make sure there is nothing wrong with the latest version of Garmin Express, I added my 310XT, which hasn't been used in years, but does use an ANT stick to transfer data. I was able to add it to Garmin Express. This was on Windows 10 running version 20H2.

Make sure you have your Garmin powered on and you've enabled pairing, which on the 310XT is Settings > System > Data Transfer > Pairing > On

If that still doesn't work, try on a different computer. If still a problem, it could be a faulty ANT stick.

I have a vivofit 4. Thank you so much for your advice. I will try the ant stick on another laptop.
