European Map update?

Why is it that GE is showing an update of the EU map on my Edge 830 when only  NA map is installed in the device? when i tried to install the update it shows error, re install the GE and reset the 830 and EU map update still shows up. Why?

    Doubt if anyone here can answer that, probably an issue with your account, try calling Product Support.  I'm assuming here you've never had the EU map installed to this device?  In which case it's confusing since you then go on to say 'when you try to install it ...' ?

    Since it showed up as an update i did tried to install it and it will just shows error, maybe since i don't have EU map installed or purchased on my 830  and account. i already contacted Garmin Support

    ***The Edge 830 is actually a refurb replacement, maybe it has something to do with it***
