Garmin Express Quit Unexpectedly in Windows 10

I have performed the 7 suggested steps by support to remove, reinstall, delete config file and registry keys, run as administrator, ensure permissions, install latest Windows updates, uninstall restarts, reinstall and NOTHING stops the error message after installing latest version 7.1.4.0 of "GE Quit Unexpectedly ". The install says successful, but it won't open. Any new ideas? GE used to run fine on this same PC (Dell) with Windows 10 for a couple of years up until August of 2020.

Maybe a Windows update broke something, it's not unheard of

Having said that I'm running the latest Win10 version and 7.1.4.0 without issue

Thank you for your input and happy it's working for you, but this is the ONLY software on my PC not working.

If it worked in August are you able to go back to a restore point, and see if you still have problems?

exactly the same exprience with 7.4, 7.1.4.0 was the last working version for me, tried all the tricks, but no luck, keeps crushing, sent a report, hoping for a fix soon

"GE quit unexpectedly" after update to 7.4. unistall/reboot/install new one does not help.
