Express software says there is a map update, but 2017 Honda Ridgeline says version matches what is already installed

Using the same USB stick I used before, and the Express software tells me there's an update. I update USB then attempt to install to Ridgeline but the vehicle says versions already match.

What gives?

Well I think I know why this is happening. If I update USB with garmin express, then shut-down app, then re-launch, it ALWAYS tells me there's an update available. Why?

Previous versions checked USB to compare what's on there and didn't warn you about updates unless your version on USB was different.
