EDGE 530: GPS Chipset 4.50 download?

Is it possible downloading and installing GPS Chipset 4.50 onto EDGE 530 bypassing Garmin Express? I'm asking because the chipset GSP version on my Edge 530 is fixed to "2.90(!)"
