Garmin Express shows map update available, but fails to update map in device RV785. Garmin Express is version 7.1.3. Also unable to transfer routes from Basecamp to device.

The subject pretty much tells the tale. Most related answers were from 5 years ago for different devices. To be honest I am less than impressed with how robust this device/software are.

If you can provide more detail someone may be able to help, as this is the Express forum please concentrate on that. You say Express fails to update the map. Which map is installed? What map does it try to install? Where and with what error message does it fail?

It wants to install iOverlander Worldwide 2021.30. What is installed is City Navigator North America NT 2021.2. It just says error unable to install. No specific messages beyond that.

I've never heard of that one, must be a RV specific one. Any idea what that map is?

Nope. Not a clue. I did not ask for it or buy it. All I know is that Garmin Express keeps wanting me to upgrade it.

Given it appears to just be POIs I wouldn't worry about it but you might like to call Product Support to see if they can help.
