Express no longer detects devices

Express wouldn't start after I upgraded to Windows 10 v2004 mid August Aug. I uninstalled and downloaded latest version (7.1.3.0) - app now starts but won't recognise neither eTrex 30 nor Edge 830. Ant+ drivers, USB port and everything else on the pc ok. Garmin connect desktop and android app ok. Emailed Garmin support but no response.

Sounds like the Windows update has broken something, working perfectly fine on my updated Win10. Try the steps in this FAQ:

Thanks for the quick reply. The Garmin device (Edge 830) appears as a drive in Windows 10, so it's being recognised by the PC, yet Garmin Express isn't finding it, which leads me to think there is an interface problem between Express and Windows as a result of the recent upgrade. I've chased Garmin support again.
