Garmin Express - Plug In an SD Card

I have been trying to get my charts/device uploaded into Garmin Express from my echoMAP UHD chartplotter. I've tried this one two computers, both recognize the SD card and I can view the files that the chartplotter created. When I open Garmin Expresss and insert the SD card the blue banner pops up and says it can see there is new devices available. When I click "Add Charts or Devices" it says "Plug In an SD Card" and searches for a minute or two before telling me it can't find anything.

I've done some research and it seems there are many others with the same issue but no real solution. The SD card is 16GB and is formatted to FAT32.

Any thoughts?

I have the same device and having the same exact problem.

Let me preface by saying Garmin Homeport detects my device AND my CHART just fine.
Garmin Express 7.1 doesnt detect any devices
Garmin Express 7.0 detects my device but not my chart (I'm trying to update my chart)
Garmin Express 6.7 forces you to upgrade to 7.1

I found the older versions here: https://garmin-express.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions
    Hopefully Garmin fixes this issue.

BTW Garmin, I'll be sending you a bill for my services =)

    Navigation
    1. Buy a Garmin navigator
    2. Try to install Garmin Express
    3. Try to update navigation maps.
    4. Spend a lot of time learning and reading the forums.
    5. Place your Garmin navigator on the shelf.
Take your smartphone to turn on the maps and drive or swim without any problems.
