I have just bought a fenix 6s, I have already a 5s; what's the best way to update and not lose your data on Garmin express?

I use Garmin express for a lot of things and it has all the data from my existing watch 5s. I'm worried if I just plug it in via garmin expressI might lose everything. Is their something you need to do ? I can't fin and info anywhere that says what to do. Appreciate the help
