Based on my assumption below what is the timetable to actually implement a modern solution?

Garmin has 3 separate sign in websites (all same login info, but not clearly connected.

1. Retail - buy stuff

2. Connect - track stuff

3. Express - update stuff

In addition Express requires its own application to install updates and the mobile version of connect doesn't inform you of updates. I was running version 5 until this morning because I rarely log into desktop version of connect and had no idea I was so far behind. I just assumed the watched updated automatically with Connect.

I am assuming there is some plan to modernize this platform so that the web and mobile platforms operate seamlessly and that express will operate as a function of Connect and not a completely separate work flow.
