I'm stuck with removing / updating / installing GA

Hello,

I know have GA 7.0.1.0, i have an update ready tot GA 7.1.1.0 but auto update from the app is not working.

I downloaded new GA setup from web -> update fails

I tried to remove GA trough software center > remove failed

I deleted the reg keys as suggested, the software is still there in the list and nothing changed...

I have no errors what so ever in eventviewer so i'm blind....

What else can i do?

Same over here. Garmin Express updater does not work. Downloads the software, tries to install it, but get a message it is not able to install. Get this every time. So once a year I try to get rid of the oldest version an try to install the lastest version. Sometimes it works, sometimes it cost me two hours to get the oldest version from my computer and installing the laterst version. My wife does have the same issues.

How do you get rif of the installer after 2 hours of work? I tried it all... maybe not forced uninstall trough ccleaner or what ever... installing new version on other laptop = no problems.

Good question. Tried everything, sometimes 2-3 times and at once I succeeded in re-installing a new version. Don't ask me how or why: it seems "it just happened".

Update regarding this one, updating to the newest versio beyond GA 7.1.1.0, fails with the same reason again... so only manual update works.
