Syncing issue - vivoactive 3

Hi, I have had my Vivoactive 3 a week now and love it, however my steps for 2 days ago haven't synced. I must have walked about 13000 steps that day, but my connect app is only saying I walked 380. It doesn't sync anymore fpr that day after 7.45am. Yesterday synced fine and today the same.

I've tried numerous things,such as syncing to my laptop, uninstalling / reinstalling the connect app, turning the watch off and even removing and re adding the watch to my account, but no luck!

I don't mind it being like this, but if it is only recording me at 380 steps, and 970 cals burned (normally its in the region of 4000) would this have an effect on the cals burned per day going forward?

Any help on how to fix this would be amazing, I dont like using the phone for personal reasons so don't want to call Garmin, if anyone knows of a live chat / email that would be better.

  • Try to delete C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\FolderWithYourDeviceSerialNumber

    And resync - after few days, once you record enough data so you know there's stuff to sync and upload to Connect.

    Needless to say your immediate past history that you're enquiring about will be gone though...
