Garmin Express user name and password constant sign on when synching with Forerunner with 735XT

For some reason, since I updated to v7.0.0.0 I'm always prompted to enter my User Name and Password when opening up Garmin Express to synchronise my Forerunner 735XT. I enter it but it just goes back to the same dialogue box. When I cancel this I find I can then synch as normal, but it always wants to install my details first.

It isn't preventing me synching, but it is just annoying. I'm using an up to date Windows Dell laptop.

Ditto here. I just updated from 6.X to 7.0 hoping this issue was resolved, but it still exists in 7.X

same problem with 920XT, plus IQ apps broken - SERVER ERROR every single time

Hi there, I fixed this by doing a complete uninstall (through control panel->applications) and then installing the latest version from the garmin website. Simply updating the client in place did not work.

By the way, a mod here keeps on closing discussions related to this issue as though it has been resolved, but it has not - this is still very much an open bug.

Thanks - will have a look. Last version I had an issue actually uninstalling, but will have a go.

I have the same problem.

Ithought I had forgotten my password but even with a fresh one, the problem remains.

Uninstall Garmin Express (assuming you can) and reinstall it. Since I've done this its worked fine.

A lot of my issues stemmed from a corrupted download for the previous version which meant I could not uninstall it. As a result, I had to wait for the next version to be released to resolve a lot of my issues.
