Update old marine maps

Hi.

I recently purchased a boat that came with an echoMAP SV CHIRP 92 device.

I downloaded garmin express, added the device there from the micro-sd card that was in the device.

I was then able to download WorldWide Shaded relief map 2020.50 v9.00, it also displays QuickDraw Contours Starter Map Version: 2018.0

When i put the sd-card back in my Plotter i was given the option to transfer from sd-card, which i did. There the plotter also listed the following map in addition to shared relief from 2020s:

HXEU041R-Oslo-Skagerak-Haugesund v2016.0 v17.50

HXEU041A-Oslo-Skagerak-Haugesund v2016.0 v17.50

How can i make my Garin Express see that i have had these norwegian maps from before, and provide updates to them? (Not sure if they can be updated directly, but i have heard that there is a discount for map updates on maps you allready own)

    I can answer myself.

    Emailed Garmin and got a reply.

    Had to delete the file GarminDevice.xlm on the SD-card. I took the SD-card out of the cpomputer, reinserted it, started up Garmin Express again, and chose add. Now the map was available :)
