Garmin Express removed my Forerunner 310XT by itself

Normally when I open Garmin Express I immediately see my 310XT.
Garmin Express removed my Forerunner 310XT by itself between wednesday and this morning (not visible anymore when I open GE) and I can't reconnect it?

I've tried installing GE again, restarting my laptop, pairing it multiple times. My Ant-stick works (checked it), I have the pairing option on my watch in the correct mode. So everything works, except for Garmin Express.

    I just remembered that there was a Windows update on Thursday. Could that have anything to do with it?

    Between friday and today (sunday) I managed to link my friends 310xt to my PC. First I installed GE and it didn´t regonize the watch, so I closed the window opened GC and then reopened GE and everything worked fine, I even managed to send courses to the watch.

    In the beginning I ask Garmin what I should do and after a couple of days they replied, between their reply and me playing around with GC/GE I managed to get it working 100%

    With GC you mean the Garmin Connect webpage connect.garmin.com? So, opening GC and then GE...

    I've tried so many things again, but so far nothing helped. But I'm going to try this.

    I tried this this morning. Didn't work.
    I also miss the button to go directly to Garmin Connect. Like it threw out my entire profile?
    I hope Gamin servicedesk can help me today.

    I don’t know if this helps but first I plug in the ANT+ and then I open the GC/GE. GC(garmin connect website)

    It seems to be a problem on my laptop only. I just installed GE on my work laptop to see what happens and now it deed find my 310XT.
    So, now I have to find out why it doesn't work on my own laptop.. Grr.

    You wild think that un-installing GE from my laptop and installing it again would do the trick, but it didn't.

    As of why there are problems with my laptop. It must have happened when it crashed last Thursday...Since then I have these problems. I just didn't think the problems were related.

    At least now you know it works, you just have to find out why it doesn´t work on your home laptop

    So.. I have deleted every Garmin Express related file I could find on my laptop. Even the 'hidden' software I was directed to through the support:
    support.garmin.com/.../

    So, I restarted the laptop after that and re-installed Garmin Express.
    Still no luck.

    After comparing the files on my work laptop and my private laptop I see everything looks the same, except for two files:

    Folder: Express SelfUpdater
    Files:
    esu
    esu.exe.config

    Do these have any influence on the app recognizing my 310XT?
    If not, I guess I really need someone from the Servicedesk to help me (or a windows expert). I'm getting out of options and ideas..
