How to link a 310xt to windows?

A friend of mine lent me his forerunner 310xt that I used in a nice long race (13h). I´ve put in the Ant+ a the usb recognizes it, installed garmin express and when it asks to hook up a device it searchs and searchs and finds nothing. Can anyone help please?

You have to enable pairing mode on the watch, I think.

If your pairing mode is already on, maybe same issue as me.

My 310XT has been connected to Garmin Express for 7 years and since this morning It's not in Garmin Express??
And I've tried everything, but it still won't re-connect.
