Garmin Express 7.0 links

when clicking on the links - for example

the link / details won't be displayed. Same goes for some other updates (mainly biometrics data). If you have the Garmin device connected, the link will work.Prior this update, links were opened regardless of whether the device was connected or not.

have exactly the same problem, the links aren't clickable/viewable, only when the device is connected it works :-\

Even when the device is connected, it won't work if the charge in the battery is too low. I had to charge mine up via the mains supply before things operated in GE. I preferred the previous GE version where you could see the available updates without having to connect the satnav. Some are not needed by me.

hey guys, links work like they did before the update if you uninstall and do a clean reinstall.

not for me, tried on a total fresh installed Win10 1909 and 2004

:-( tsofron has found another solution. Clean install and then links work without having to connect device.

Just another thought. After I charged up my satnav and connected to computer, THE CONNECTION WASN'T MADE IMMEDIATELY. I had to wait for possibly a minute or more before the little green 'connected' light was lit up and the links became active.

This issue should be resolved with Garmin Express version 7.0.1 that was released earlier today. Please refer to the Release Notes post in the forum for more information.

I can confirm that 7.0.1 did solve the issue for me and sent a note back through product support that they can close the ticket I opened on this issue.
