Garmin Express 7.0 links

Hello ,

when clicking on the links - for example 

the link / details won't be displayed. Same goes for some other updates (mainly biometrics data). If you have the Garmin device connected, the link will work.Prior this update, links were opened regardless of whether the device was connected or not.

    I suspect that's a deliberate change, but it'll be interesting to see if you get a response as the Garmin Express team haven't contributed much here recently.

    I suspect it's either not, or it's lack of consistency as I still should be able to see what maps are installed on my PC (City Navigator Europe, that are installed when by nuvicam gets updated).

    I have uninstall GE because after the update was some annoying behaviors like this with the link.

    After reinstall the clean GE 7 and add again my devices the links with the details are working and also is not asking for the wifi connection every time I connect a device.

    So now I actually have to plug in my Garmin to see if the update is even worth it?  What a joke.  How many times does it CONTINUALLY show a traffic update that NEVER seems to install.  Is it a Time Zone map update for some place like Uganda where I won't be traveling to?  How knows.  Thank you for forcing us to waste our time!!!!

    It appears there is a layout change that these links only start working after the first sync. At least they do until you restart Garmin Express.  This is a problem!!!!!!

    I see the same.

    Mapdetails on my Garmin nüvi 765 won't display AND on my Garmin Vivoactive 3 watch, even when there was something to install, I couldn't see what needed to be installed, with or without my watch connected.

    Only happened after I installed v7.0.0.0 this morning.

    Given this is the Windows forum maybe it's simply an issue with the Windows version?

    Garmin express for win not show what is for update..... is imposible to see whan is to update. only info you have 1 update . show detail dosnt work.

    This might help some people. I downloaded 7.0.0.0 and clicked on 'View Details' and 'Map Details'. Nothing happened, which they did previously. Decided to connect my SmartDrive60 LMT-D to computer to see if that would make a difference.  Same result.  Unplugged satnav and noticed that battery charge was VERY low. Charged it to full capacity then connected to computer.  Problem solved. The links worked.
