I have an Edge 1000 (running latest, 15.30 software, and Garmin Express says there is a European maps update.
A while back I tried to implement it and it immediately said I did not have enough memory and needed to buy an SD Micro card. I did this (8GB) and inserted it.
When I try the update it says "Step 1 of 2 - preparing device for map update. This may take a minute". It has been waiting now for many minutes, with the little 'circle' going round. It appears to be stuck.
I saw some advice on your forum for someone with a similar problem (with a Nuvo device or something) and you started by sending them to the 'Volume page' and holding finger in top right of screen for 10 sec. Clearly these instructions won't apply for the Edge 1000 - have you another suggestion?
