I'm using a Garmin edge 520. I've been for my first ride in 2 months because of Covid guidance (Zwift has been my saviour in lockdown). However, when I try to sync the device I'm told the fit file is corrupt. I've removed it from my device and copied it to my PC. I tried an online tool to fix the fit file but it wouldn't upload that either saying
"Upload status: The file could not be uploaded. The following error occured: The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\localuser\garmin.kiesewetter.nl\loadup\2020-05-25-08-19-02.fit' because it is being used by another process.
Anyone able to help? I've attached a link to the corrupt file (hopefully) on my google docs account. I sensed there was going to be a problem as the ride distance display froze at 13 miles. Cadence, speed and heart rate were still displaying correctly during the ride but the distance was frozen. The ride length was about 45 miles (estimate).
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
