Garmin Expres claims software update on my Garmin Edge 500, every time I upload a ride, but the software on the edge stays the same version, 3.30

Hi,

This problem started I think a month or 2 ago. Every time I want to sync a ride via my Window 10 laptop, Garmin Expres needs to log me in with the same username and password, but it does't accept the right password over and over again. 

After waiting two minutes or so you can just go ahead to the dashboard and select the Edge 500.

There the Garmin Express software is telling me, everytime, that the software needs to be update, it runs a script but the software version stays the same. 

Are there more Edge 500 users with this problem and is there a way around/to solve it/get back to it working without problems like a couple of months ago?
