I've gone to my oldest laptops and found the v3.? versions and downloaded those and set the compatibility for windows 7 or 8 and they still won't work. I've worked my way up to the current Garmin Express and it will show the beginning and then the little blue wheel simple spins forever. I've left that overnight to see if it would eventually open.
I defragged my computer and fixed bad sectors. I have tons of open space for everything. No problem there. Plenty of RAM.
So, I tried all the versions again and with the 329 version I got to plugging in my Nuvï and then error message. All the other updates got an error message before getting to a window asking me to plug in my device.
I'm beginning to curse Garmin. I own four Garmin GPS devices. I need to update them all.
Why is Garmin Express x32?
Please give me a workaround or other ideas...
DO NOT TELL ME TO START IT AS AN ADMINISTRATOR...I've done. I've followed ALL the suggestions on all the forums. Plenty of time with the self-isolation.
Give me something I can work with!
