Express keeps asking to setup Wifi

I installed the latest version of Garmin Express on my desktop PC and when it starts, it keeps asking if I want to setup Wifi for my 1030. My 1030 has always been setup for Wifi. Why would a desktop app be asking about Wifi?

Because it will connect to your device, see other threads on this

I don't see any logic for my 1030 to connect to Garmin Express on my my desktop computer. The 1030 has always connected fine to the router. Seems like potential security issue. I'll just keep on clicking on cancel when the request comes up.
