GPUCache folder on desktop

When connecting to my FR945 the Garmin Express ask for email 1st

After a few minutes, when connected a new folder name GPUCache is poping on my desktop

OS - Windows 10 Pro

Everything is up to date

Any idea why and how to stop this?

  • I had the same problem yesterday: Fenix 5x, Windows 10.  Is it solved meanwhile?  If so, how?

  • I deleted the folder without any problem and for the moment it hasn't returned.  Also, Garmin Express continues to ask my email and password.  After the first time I can close that window without any problem and I can synchronise my watch, but it's very annoying.

  • Checked with the latest version 6.21.0.0

All old issues remain the same:

    High CPU power

    Creating CPUCache folder

    Asking for Email and password

  • Still the same with version 7.2.2.0.

As a note, the GPUCache folder is created to the location where from the GarminExpress.exe was executed from OR if that folder has been deleted then it creates to the desktop (at least that was my experience on two machines, when i deleted the install folder before running GArmin Express the folder was created to desktop in Windows 10 and in the other case it was created to the folder where from I initially executed the installer).
