Garmin Express shows an update available for my Edge 830 but there doesn't appear to be one

On the main window there is a 1 in the corner of the Edge 830 section. A mouseover shows the hint that there's an update available but when I open it, it says I'm up to date.

I've also had a few times where I had to log in to Garmin to enable update by wifi. I'm not sure if this is releated.

Which version do you have now? From the Edge 830 forum:

i plugged in again and got the prompt to log in to set up wifi. This time I canceled and told it to no show the message again. Now the notice went away. Also the green check mark.

But now I’m not sure if I’ve disabled just updates by wifi and not ride syncs.

If you're getting a pop up and you are sure you are up to date then try deleting the GarminDevice.xml file in the Garmin folder on your device as it's likely this hasn't updated correctly. Then reboot your device which recreates the xml file. Now see what happens.

done on both devices, now GE tolds me i have 4 update for FR945, but there aren't any:

nothing is better, 4 months without bugfixing Garmin Express, problems still exist!
