Garmin Express for PC: endless sync & endless WLAN setup

since this release everytime when i unplug my Forerunner 945 it endless syncs like in the screenshot, but only for the Forerunner not with Edge:

very often i have to setup WLAN Access for my devices and Sign In again, this is really annoying

I have had an email case open with support since I posted the last update. I have been providing them screenshots and logs. I looks like we are starting to make progress on getting them to understand the issue. Once I know more I will post an update.

I can confirm that I experience the same problem with this release and to the point that I do not know whether pending settings transfer or firmware upgrade was successful.

And yes, I did let Garmin Support know about it as well.

I heard back from Support, they have opened a case with the SW engineering team and they confirmed that they are working on a fix that will be included in a future Garmin express release. Don't know when the fix will get included, but at least they acknowledged the issue.

nothing is better, 4 months without bugfixing Garmin Express, problems still exist!

It looks like 7.0 "fixes" the issue. But I am not impressed with the resolution. It appears that all they did was remove the WiFi setup prompt. If I want to check the WiFi settings, I have to login every time I connect the device. It does not remember that WiFi is setup.

Same with my FR935 ....

Also noticed the like in previous release.

And yes, I've completely uninstalled the previous version, and installed the new one - then had to setup all my devices again. Annoying.

Still the same issue, even the Edge 1000 is now doing it even though it's disconnected
