920XT no longer syncs swim workouts

also check the content of the NEWFILES folder on your watch (should be empty, can contain defective fit files)

I did a factory reset on the watch - no difference. It still fails to download any swim workout.

Please note that this is any swim workout. I can create a new one and it will fail to sync.  I can add a swim workout created a month ago (and previously successfully downloaded) to the calendar and it fails.

It syncs fine if I remove the swim workout from the files to be installed. I have to both remove the swim workout from the calendar, and under the "devices and sync status" of garmin connect web click the X next to the swim workout file to remove it from the list of files to be installed.

I'm starting to suspect that an upgrade to Garmin Connect produces swim workouts that're different somehow and can't be installed -or- Garmin Express now thinks that swim workouts aren't compatible with the 920XT.
