Upgrading vívosmart 3 to 6.0

Apologies. First time user. I have a vivosmart3 watch. It is V 5.1. It asked if I wanted to upgrade to 6.0 and it said it was downloading and upgrading the watch. It didn't and if it went to my desktop I can't find it. Unrelated ( I think) The next time I opened the application it went to the Edge browser. The summary page was better than my default browser Chrome. It did this switch for three days and then went back to my Chrome browser. I would like to use it in edge, can't figure out how to do that without changing my default browser Chrome.

Regarding your other issue. If you want to open Garmin Connect in the Edge browser without changing your default browser to Edge. I think that's what you want, although you didn't specifically say "Garmin Connect."

This will put a shortcut on your desktop and force Garmin Connect to open in Edge:

Right click on your desktop
Select New >> Shortcut
In the text box enter the following: microsoft-edge:https://connect.garmin.com/modern/
Click Next
Type a name for the shortcut, such as Garmin Connect
Click Finish

Keep in mind that Microsoft will be removing the Classic Edge from Windows 10 in a future update and going to the new Microsoft Edge App which will be Chromium-based.
