Can't change device nickname

Just received a replacement Forerunner 945 and when I try and change the devices's nickname in Garmin Express, it doesn't change and a message is displayed 'There was an error saving your changes'

Anyone know how to sort this please?

I've just received the same message using Garmin Express on Wndows to try and rename a Vivoactive 3
