how do i add 8k or 5mile personnel record its not in the drop down menu just 1k 5k 10k etc not 8k or 5 miles

You can't. Unless Garmin decides to introduce additional PR distances, you're left with what's currently available.

ok typical have to do more 10ks then, how come miles does not come up when changing it over , i would thought it was a easy tweak to have a few more on the list
