Old Nüvi 2340 with "not connected" status on Garmin Express

I have an old Garmin Nuvi 2340 whose I would like to update the maps. I had no problem to do it in the past. Garmin Express still tells me that some updates are available for my device (firmware and maps) but that this device is not connected now for months. Otherwise Windows 10 detects it and I am able to explore the filesystem.

I am using the official garmin usb cable which works well with others devices.

How can I update the maps on this old device and firmware please ?

I'm confused by your post. Is Express really telling you your device hasn't been connected for months? If so that's a first for me. In any case I would first update Express, delete your device then re-add it to see if that works.
