System Software Missing

Good night

If someone could help me would be very grateful, it goes the following I have an Oregon 400t, and after an update on Garmin Expres began to appear in the display the message "System Software missing " Second me was informed by Garmin Iberia Need a program, I think it is to adapt. exe to install the Rgn file, but also according to them they can not do anything because it is a device with a few years and can not provide assistance. How does WINDOWS also not recognize what I can do to recover the GPS?

Since last update on my vivoactive3 i have a similar problem.

You should be able to force a reload by placing a gupdate.gcd file in the Garmin folder on your device. I suspect this issue has been caused by not doing a safe eject from Windows

How do I do that if I can't detect the device?
It turns on and appears the Garmin logo and the message System Software missing.

Are you saying your PC doesn't recognise the device?

Yes, at least when I connect the device does not appear on my computer, I hear it connecting but I do not see it.

Look in device manager. Is it listed there?

Since last update on my vivoactive3 i have a similar problem.

The clock seems recognized by windows but not by garmin express nor my phone anymore. Moreover the battery of the clock is now depleted in 8 hours (it was about 3days for one charge before) and at last the button of the clock doesn't allow to start an activity anymore (it has a cancel effect).

To sum up my clock became useless thanks to this update.

I hope this shameful upgrade is going to be fixed.

Good afternoon, when I connect the device it appears in the Device Manager with a question mark and says it is working properly, but when I go to my computer it does not appear.
