310XT freezes on upload of schedule

Hello folks,

Hope someone can help me.

When GE attempts to upload a schedule my XT freezes with "Transferring Data" displayed on the watch with nothing happening except repeated "Upload failed" errors in GE. All I can do to recover the XT is a hard reset. It doesn't respond to anything else - though it will power off, it won't start again, just staying on the initial screen.

After a hard reset, it functions normally - asks for the basic info and finds the satellites quickly. It works fine recording a run and I can download workouts to GE.

If I need to upload something however that's when the trouble starts -

I have tried the following several times now - hard reset XT (only way to get the "Transferring Data" message to clear), run basic XT startup setup and let it acquire GPS, start GE, remove the XT profile to ensure I'm starting from scratch, insert the ANT USB stick. Then I add the XT again and sign into GC, then "transferring data" appears on the watch. GE then spends a while on "Please wait while we finish setting up your device" then says "Setup complete!" and "You Have Items Ready to Install" (which is just a schedule I want to upload at the moment).. I click "Install" and it goes into "Syncing..." for a few minutes. Eventually I will get "Schedule (Transfer Error)".

I've attached the logs for information. ExpressDetailed.log

I cannot revert to an older version of GE because v3 doesn't seem able to login to GC any longer, and later versions will force upgrade to the latest v6.

I realise few customers will still be using this model by now but it still has extensive functionality even by current standards and it works fine day to day.

Thanks

Dave

The same problem is here! It seems that schedule synchronization (training schedule) is somehow breaks 310xt. After performing schedule sync the only way to recover the device back is hard reset.

The same here. I was not connecting this fact with new Express, because I was not uploading new plans for awhile. Now I'm pretty sure.

Without uploading new plans, seems to work fine (hey Garmin, this was your advantage! We need this functionality!), however connecting and syncing every 30 sec - definitely a difference comparing to previous versions of Express

Find any solution, let me know
