Garmin Express neither install nor launch

So many people have problem to install or launch Garmin Express but there is apparently no appropriate action on the Garmin side - the recommendations given do not work

I would like to present my case

WIN 10 1809 (OS Bulid 17763.437)
latest Garmin Express installation file - file version 6.13.1.0, 82,6 MB GarminExpressInstaller.exe

01 - Garmin Express v6.7.1.0 Installation Starting Page
02 - Garmin Express v6.7.1.0 Successfully installed (in grey)
clicking on Launch Garmin Express gives changes color of the button and returns back without any action and with NO ERROR MESSAGE (!)
installation of Garmin Express in spite of the message Successfully installed apparently was not finished
because
03 - Garmin Express is not listed among Garmin programs at Start Menu
04 - Garmin Express is not listed among installed programs in Control Menu - Programs and Features
but
05 - even the partial Garmin Express installation is recognized by IObit Uninstaller
but there are any data present neither in the version nor in the installation path field
and the size of the program installed is only 5,87 MB

so, something is rotten in the state of Denmark - in this case on the side of the GARMIN

unbelievable - I am not able to attach the screen shots - getting the message Invalid file
this five screen shots I started to upload AS-IS e.g. .png files (Ctrl-PrtSc)
then I convert them to .jpg still invalid or exceeding the limit
so I resized them to as much as 384x216 px - still invalid - as well as their zipped file - cannot help them any more to appear on this post
but I think anybody could imagine the content of these screen shots

after uninstalling the partial Garmin Express installation by IObit Uninstaller the next problem starts - Garmin Express is already installed
and there is no way to uninstall actually not successfully installed version
as this is not present neither on the list of installed programs in Control panel nor among the Apps and as well in IObit Uninstaller either

and the endless loop leading nowhere...

I do not understand the Garmin logic - every installation program I used so far in such a case offers or allows for re-installing the same version
only the Garmin Express not - the same is valid for reinstalling the GPS software while previous WebUpdater behaved quite normal
and offered the same version reinstall - is there anybody in Garmin to explain me such a logic?

nevertheless I would like to provide the solution of the Garmin fake messages (1) Garmin Express "Successfully installed" and (2) "Garmin Express is already installed"

CAUSE of the PROBLEMS

the Garmin Express install and uninstall problems mentioned in my above post are caused by the Garmin's non-standard Garmin Express installation procedure that does not provide for its correct uninstalling -

uninstalling Garmin Express removes all folders and files installed in the Garmin folder in Program Files(86) but leaves the keys for all its three installed programs - Express, ElevatedInstaller and ExpressSelfUpdater - in registry

therefore running the Garmin Express says "Garmin Express is already installed" but it cannot be started because the programs were removed and you don't see them neither in the Gamin folder in Program Files(86) nor in the Control Panel Programs and Features as well - and therefore you cannot uninstall them -

SOLUTION

the easiest and fastest way to get rid of these buggy registry leftovers is to search the registry for the Garmin Express version number - e.g. in case of the current Garmin Express search registry for 6.13.1.0 - and delete every key found - just check that it is the Garmin key of one of the before mentioned Garmin Express programs - there should be if I remember well six such Garmin keys - removing them allows for Garmin Express to be reinstalled

Here we tried almost everything, deleted everything in regedit both version number, name (garmin) and express.
Removed everything from the disk, but I still have the error.
It's the worst piece of software I've ever seen (I am MSc in Engineering, C ++, Python)
