Garmin Express wants to install already installed software

This keeps on happening. I have a Fenix 5+ running software version 6.0 along with all the maps. When I connect my watch to my PC and fire up Garmin Express, it says I have 28 updates available to install. I'm pretty sure I already have all these updates on my watch. For sure, I have software version 6.0, but Express wants to install it.

Any reason why I keep seeing all these updates?

No idea, what you could try though is to delete GarminDevice.xml which you should find in the Garmin folder, sometimes this file fails to update correctly and it's this file that holds all the detail on your device. Rebooting your watch then recreates that file. Now see what Express does.

Hey, that may have worked! It's now only showing 3 updates.
