Every time I receive and install an update for Garmin Express, without asking or even telling me, Garmin Express re-enables the "Always keep Garmin Express running the background" setting. I have disabled this setting at least 5 times, but it keeps re-enabling itself on every update. I find this behaviour annoying and intrusive to my computer. I have disabled this setting for a good reason and don't want my preference to be discarded. Please stop this behaviour in the next update.
I agree totally that it is wrong. Installation of a new version should not alter my settings. The bug should be fixed ... but I am afraid Garmin will not.
Not only that it enables the running in the background feature but it reactivates a task for autoupdate. Everytime I deactivate the running in the background option and the task for updates and after every update are enabled by Garmin. No means No!
