Activities fail to sync with Garmin Connect - Forerunner 610

Hi,
I haven't been able to sync/upload my data from my 610 for the past couple days. I get an "there was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" message. I've tried the following and have had no luck:

Trying to connect USB ANT+ Stick on different USB ports.
Trying to upload activities manually from the watch

Will a master reset help, or what else can I do to upload to garmin connect?

Misery loves company.
My Garmin Swim would not sync last night or this morning. Rebooted the computer, moved the USB stick to different ports. Running the latest version of Garmin Express. No luck.

Got it! What finally worked was uninstalling Garmin Express and then reinstalling it. I think there was a Windows update that may have wacked something.
