Forerunner 305 won't sync after update to 6.11.1.0

Garmin Express updated to 6.11.1.0 on my Windows 10 PC. Now my Forerunner 305 (via USB) won't sync. "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect".

Same here for Edge 705. I managed to revert GE to the previous version and it still didn't work, so I think it's unrelated to the update, and more related to Garmin killing TCX uploads somehow. Manual upload via Garmin Connect web isn't working either.

I was able to connect today (well, two out of three times), so you're most likely correct.

Have a Forerunner 410 and have same issue since update. Tried the Supports "factory reboot" advice , worked once then stopped again.
