Dashcam 55 always runs through setup when its powered on

I have a brand new dashcam 55 with the 8gb sandisk memory card. However after some time whenever i swicthed it on, it would make me go through the setup (like language, units, etc).

Sometimes it would also say please insert memory card after that. However I have tried 2 different memory cards. Anyone experience this or know whats wrong?

ah i see it needs a new update

Though after updating my dashcam 55 it still enters me into setup every time i switch it on. Basically I update with express but then when i disconnect my dashcam and plug it back in, it tells me the same update is available. (I am using windows btw)

There is no forum here for Garmin dashcam devices. I urge you to contact Garmin support for assistance.
